Does anybody have edm headlights for a 93?

My headlights will n ot seem to clear up after repeated sandings. So I guess I will go EDM.

I would also like the corner lights but they are no where near as important.

glass is nice, but...

Have you tried clearcoat? Makes a world of difference.

Well yea that is part of the thing I did with sanding but they never look real good, I even went up to 1600 grit.

Mothers aluminum polish followed by plastic polish.

And does anyone know if the JDM lights have the city lights?

I actually found out the JDM ones have the city lights also.

But the beam patterns spook some people.

People start flsahin their brights cuz the beam patern is the opposite of what it should be here.

So pissed is a more appropriate term. lol

Have you ever passed a car that was parked on the wrong side of the road at night? The cops are great for doing this!!!

So i did this...

The mothers al polish didnt do much.

So I started dry sandin to get the rest of the clear coat that was still on since the last try.

300grit wouldnt easily cut the clear so I started with the acetone.

Once the clear was gone I re-300grit drysanded it.

Then moved up to 600grit drysanding.

Then moved to 1500grit drysand.

By this time they were scratcehed and cloudy as hell.

So no prob.

I put 0000 steel wool on the end of my wax buffer and buffed away.

Now the scatches were almost totally gone.

So I re-did the Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish

Then I did the Mothers Plastic Polish (which really helped)

Lastly I used some of my Meguires Yelloe High-Tech Carnuba Wax to make'em shiny

So after all this it finally turned out good.

I am happy with it but still want edms cuz ... well... I do

I didnt do the clear coat because it is never smooth. When I put it on either is orangepeels or is gritty.

So maybe it is just that I have crappy Krylon CC.

Dunno but this whole thing worked well.

Thanks for the Mothers Mag and Plastic Polish tip
