TMIC bpv ?'s
so i feel bad for my car ingesting super hot air, so im doing a 06 tmic. So what all do i have to do to the bpv and all the hoses and whatnot to run one? boost controller, etc? im still kinda new to the turbo game, so if someone has a thread or diagrams that can help me read up on this stuff let me know, i need a little rundown on all the turbo parts and system. i tried to search it, but i guess i just suck at it.
Re: TMIC bpv ?'s
Is your car currently a turbo legacy? What turbo are you running or plan to run? If you don't plan to upgrade the turbo, I wouldn't even bother with an intercooler right now. Fitting the intercooler with the vf11 is less fun than the non-"clocked" outlets.

and yes, currently a bone stock 94 turbo wagon
Re: TMIC bpv ?'s
I'd suggest reading over the TMIC sticky in this thread. It's at the top of the forum.
Regarding the BPV, most people use a fitting to run from the TMIC to the valve and then back into the intake track. Fitting any intercooler in these cars requires a bit of customization with all the hoses and such.
You can use the stock boost control solenoid. If you want a MBC, you can run that and just leave the boost control solenoid hooked up so it doesn't throw a code. You'll be ok, up until around 12-13 psi since that is where fuel cut is.
Not sure if I answered all your questions or not. I'd suggest reading the TMIC sticky in this forum, and if you have more questions, feel free to ask.

I cut some off the flange . Flipped it upside down.
Re: TMIC bpv ?'s
I don't run a BPV on my rally car. Just have a blockoff plate. For a tiny turbo like the TD-04 it should be alright. No ill effects so far!

Re: TMIC bpv ?'s
Not running anything on my car... FMIC and a TD05. Makes some sick sounds! Flutter is crazy. For a journal bearing turbo under 15psi there is not an issue. But it's not the best solution, just temporary.
What I would do is go on eBay, and get a adapter for the 02-07 flange from the seller "Wyntonm". Then run a hose off that into the BPV, then back into the intake.
