FS: 1991 Legacy Racing shell (light weight)

Post by PRT »

I’m selling my 1991 Subaru Legacy racing Shell. (extra light)
This is a project to be completed. Fully custom.
Bare shell only. Unpainted. No drivetrain, no electrical wiring, no suspension included.
No roof skin or hood.
***Some body parts (glass (not all) and doors (not all)) can be included in sale,
but a donor car would be your best option.

-Completely seem welded body
-All useless brackets removed
-All useless double skin removed
-All seem sealant and gravel guard scrapped
-All holes and floor plugs welded
-Full rollcage (2004 specs) installed and welded to body
-Racing seat mounts welded to body
-Reinforced shock towers + tied to rollcage
-Shock tower brace welded to fire wall
-Fire wall pedal box mount (for wilwood type)
-Rocker panel (sill) jack stands points
-Custom rear diff solid mounted to body (fuelcell must be used if this option is taken)

Hundreds and hundreds of hours already spent on shell prep. (the worst is done ;) )
To be completed to your desires.
No titles

Please contact me via email, not by tread reply:

1500$

***To be determined after I do an inventory check of what’s left. No promise.

Reason for selling if you really need to know, change of direction in the project;
Too many major changes to the shell to meet the new project goal.

JUST TO BE CLEAR, THIS IS A SHELL ONLY

If I had completely trashed my Rally Car shell in my crash last month, I'd be looking to pick this up... Might need it in 2 months after the 100 Acre Wood rally. :P

wish you were closer, I'd be tempted.

What are the cage specs? Diameter, type and thickness of tubing, size of attachment plates, etc...

Can you still bolt up the standard rear subframe?

Any chance you could shoot it with primer and deliver to Syracuse, NY ???

Pics of of the front of the roll cage/dash area from inside the car would be helpful, too.

LAST CHANCE
Got to make room for new project. Going to the crusher soon.

Do not bother with offers or fancy request. It's priced to sell (giving it away practically).
Will come with a load of spares not needed for my new project.

PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS in top post how to contact me.

I know you are not looking for any fancy requests. However if I forwarded you the money is there a way you could store it for a month or two without it taking up any space of yours. I completely understand if is not possible but let me know.
