Well its been a couple weeks and the cars gotten lots of work and tlc :)

Repairs:
My driver side front wheel bearing was shot beyond belief which also caused my hub to become shot, then I had both inner/outter tie rods for my passenger side, here's a shot of the hub disaster
Image
The noise was sooo unique and crazy I had been told by two diff ppl it was def my axle, which it wasn't. My wheel bearing being bad caused my inner rim to scrape against part of the strut tower so a nice polished sharp edge has taken some of the gold out!

And for some much needed tlc... My buddy with a Saturn came over and we were swapping his tan interior out with black... Complete interior I may add so while tearing his nasty stuff out my other buddy came with his mustang and shop vac and steam cleaner. We ended up taking all our interior out as well, minus my carpet and the mustangs carpet and detailing the inside of our cars literally for 6 hours! Here's a few pics of the day long adventure and yard full of diy'ers.

Carpet transplant!

To the left of my subie, the Saturn and some plumbers crack

To the right, the fukstang :P

My dirty girl
Image

You can see food crumbs to the right of the driver seat from previous owners and to the left is "Colorado green crumbs" def from me hahaha
Image

Tucking/tying my wires to my newly installed Rockford costars P3 with a 2000watt Jensen mono :) no rattle and not too much overwhelming bass, just perfect!
Image

Vacuumed and armorall'd and detailed prolly the first time in years!

Well since I got a fresh new windshield after a year of not replacing it I decided to tint her up! Last two subies I've owned I've done limo tint which I don't want for this vehicle. Keeping it a lil on the lighter side of 15% instead of 5% :P I think it turned out great

Looks nice! I have those same wheels going on my 84 gl wagon after a five lug swap. They look sweet on your legacy!

That's awesome! You have em in white or gold? I've only seen one other subie(in real life) that has these wheels, super rare and they rock. Better get some pics on this thread when you put em on, is it a wagon or sedan you have them going on?

I have them in gold, just bought them a few weeks before I got my legacy. I know of one other subaru with them on USMB. This is the car they will be going on after the five lug swap, and right now it's a part for a fuel injection swap as well.

Ugly but... the Mitsu gave us the full powered ~200hp VR4, and watered down SS. :(

Been a lil while since I updated...

My auto started to get tired and sloppy/slippy... Was gonna install a 5sp but didn't have the downtime or funds, BUT I found a stock 93 tleg auto with 58k original for a steal of 350$!!! Anywho, we installed it over a few days period and after a few hiccups here and there its in and shifts sooooo great, night and day difference :) it has a weird boost issue over 10 lbs where ill hit wot and the boost needle hits 10-12 and immediately drops to under 5... If I set my mbc to under 10 it will hold the boost there just fine. Also I notice if my mbc is set over 10 the boost needle only drops way below after 5k rpm.. stupid weird problem, but for now just keeping it under 10 and enjoying the new tranny :)

very nice progress!! I need to get a new DD so i can get some minor issues ground out on my car.

the boost spike could be your MBC leaking? or maybe the MBC needs to be cleaned? maybe the little ball inside the MBC is getting stuck from oil residue.

you can get the driveshaft from a 2nd gen leggy with a 5spd just be sure you grab the diff hub as the bolt patterns are different. I have a complete shifter assembly pm me

Thnx diesel, would you recommend that over a first gen 5sp? Both gens are all over the junkyard! Also is your shifter assembly from a tleg or something else, I've heard the wrx one is better for feel...

You need the 2nd gen legacy rear diff as well in order to use the 2nd gen drive shaft. The diff casting is different in length and as a result the driveline is different in length.
