Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build
Spent some time cleaning the car up and putting some stuff together today. Photo updates!
Rear seats are super clean. All I did was dust them off in this picture:
Steering wheel in! Definitely need either a quick release or the non-slim hub:
Got rid of the ugly wiper. Need to get a rubber plug of some sort for the big ass hole in the window now. Also need the lower and upper molding for the hatch.
This molding is non-existent, so it looks like I will have to clean up the original stuff and have it sprayed:
Door cards look nice, except for the damn missing inserts. UGH. Someone help me.
Passenger side

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build
Nice thank you!
Fresh new oem molding all around, trying to find some amber corners, ej20 of course! Wheels and suspension at some point but not sure what is actually going to come next. I go through stages where I won't even think about it, then other times I'm obsessed searching for parts online. It's a sickness, as I'm sure you know hahaha

I've been pretty good so far this year. I just bought a house though so that has eaten up a lot of my money. I hope to have the car done by 2025 or so

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build
Moved the car over to one side of the garage today to make room for my motor and tranny that Im bringing over tomorrow. Removed the rest of the tape in the bay that Ive been too lazy to get rid of.
Starting to get more excited thankfully. I need to get motor mounts, as well as a turbo crossmember and trans mount.

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build
Just ordered a new transmission mount and clutch cable!
I guess my plan is to separate the motor (EJ22 n/a) from transmission, and only use the manual transmission. Get it all bolted up and the remainder of the five speed swap handled, then pick up the EJ20g and get that started.

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build
Pulled the trigger on some clean OEM corner lights, since mine disappeared.
I will probably take them apart and spray them amber from the inside, r/c car body style. Maybe not though.

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build
Updates:
Pulled the automatic shifter linkage out today and took the console pieces out to clean:
The before photos of the console are gross, so here is an after shot:
It still doesn't look perfect as you can see. It doesn't have any cracks or scrapes, its just discolored. Any suggestions on what I can or should do? I suppose I could spray it the same way I did with the steering wheel, and wrap the armrest.

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build
WRX crossmember and steering rack. One more piece to the puzzle:
Paid $130 from JSpec in Richmond, VA and managed to get someone to bring it to me!
I plan on getting the transmission in sometime this week. Anyone in VA want to come and hang out and drink beers while I do it?

Nice find. If you notice after the BC and GC turbo engines, subaru used the twin turbo crossmember for all future turbo cars.

Re: Joe's 93 RHD Legacy Wagon Build
Today was definitely a good day! The guy who bought my old Ej22 told me he had a parts car that I could come pick parts from and he was only a few minutes from where I live!
I got all of the window molding pieces I was searching for, and its in pristine shape! Also got the interior trim pieces that go between the door card & window, complete five speed center console, a few miscellaneous pieces for the five speed swap and a fresh set of gray doorcards.
