The fenders are just pulled and rolled quite a bit.

Re: robertpaige's 92' Legacy SS - build
Update:
Headgaskets blew at 199k, I guess 18psi was just too much for the old girl to handle.
I scored a CLOSED DECK EJ20G from a friend for extremely cheap. So right now that's being put together, and will be going in the car in the next few weeks. It hasnt been driven in about 2 months now, so i'm really excited to have it back on the road soon.

Yeah, I ran 20 for awhile on stock gaskets. I've been told by some knowledgeable people they can even handle 25.

Re: robertpaige's 92' Legacy SS - build
I will be using EJ20G heads. Mike, any opinion on using 25D heads with the 20G shortblock?
CJ, I think they can handle 20+, my gaskets were probably just old. Plus the 22T had a bunch of crankplay, so it was getting real tired.

The 25d heads breathe a little better, but that is negated by having no top end with the n/a cams. You could swap the valvetrain and cams from the 20g over... Too much work IMO.

Re: robertpaige's 92' Legacy SS - build
Update: So the motor is still not together... work has been crazy and I haven't had the time. So my buddy down at SSI here in Oregon is going to assemble it for me this weekend. I just need to bolt the heads onto the block and put the cams in, once those are in i'll do everything else.
2 valve cover bolts snapped off in the head, so that held me up and I finally got them extracted at a machine shop. We're looking good now! I'm hoping next weekend, the engine will be ready to drop into the car. Man do I miss driving it..

Well that's good news. I bet you'll be much happier. Hell, I went from Oct '13 to Mar '15 without mine. It was no fun driving automatics during that time.....

Re: robertpaige's 92' Legacy SS - build
Hell yeah CJ. Here's a pic of the block. after I took this, I replaced the coolant pipe to the oil cooler with a brand new one and all those hoses too and the seal inside the oil cooler. Found an intake manifold bolt broken off, but there's enough to tack another bolt on with a welder and get it out.

You need an image hosting site like photobucket or flikr to be able to share pics on the forum. Upload a pic, then there will be links next to it that give you options to share the photo, you just copy and paste the IMG url.
