Engine is the factory EJ22T 2.2L 16v turbo.

My grandmother purchased it new in 1991 in Victoria, BC, Canada, and my sister took it over around about 2006. Current CA registration and it passes CA smog test every time.

runs and drives exceptionally well. boosts really nicely. Recent oem shocks, tires, fan belt, spark plugs and wires, valve cover gaskets, radiator, and coolant tank. Always had regular oil changes and services. Very well maintained over the years.

Mechanically excellent, but as you can see the body has seen better days. Absolutely no rust, but there are several dings all around, a side skirt got chipped, and the drivers side front fender got pushed in at the rear of the panel. only cosmetic damage. Never been in an accident.

Interior is Excellent. Upholstery is superb. AC and all climate controls work very well. The only thing that does not work is the drivers side door lock. the problem seems to be mechanical linkage-related

You can tell from the pics it's a SOHC engine. If its the original engine to the car, its the same engine as what the US models got.

ahhhh......I'm a dummy. my mistake. I don't know the cars that well. i saw 16v and thought, like a dummy, well 16v = dohc.
