Entire 96 wrx driveline cost
Im trying to get the engine, tranny, rear diff, driveshaft, control arms, ecu, wiring harness, with only 88xxx kms on it seller wants 4500. does that sound like a bit much?

On ebay the ej20g engine and transmission with ecu usually go for $1500 shipped or plus shipping. Sure you don't get the rear diff, driveshaft, control arms, and wiring harness, but do you really need all those for an additional $3k?
The driveshaft won't work for a legacy, the control arms on the wrx are the same thing (STI's could have aluminum control arms, but those go for around $250), and the legacy wiring harness only needs minor wiring to accept the ej20g engine and ecu...
