Impreza Bumpers on BC-BF

Post by STi_GUY »

On Oliver's site, Ive noticed that a few Legacies have GC8 impreza bumpers and body kits. Can it be done easily? I would love a 99 2.5RS Front bumper and lip on my 94. I'd imagine they would facilitate a FMIC easier than my current front end. Take a look at oliver's site and get back to me. The big question is... How much and how difficult?

Yeh, As soon as I can get some digital pics and find a place to host 'em, I'd be more than happy to show off my baby.

when I had my bumper off a couple weeks ago I tried to fit an rs bumper on my car. I am not saying it is not possible because anything is possible. but it would take quite a bit of work. It is quite a bit different. the stock bumper will house a fmic just fine. I have a blitz on mine. you can see pics of it pn www.i-club.com. the too slits underneath the grill on the bumper really supply a fair amount of cool air to the intercooler.

I'm curious about the RS bumper fitting onto my 91 legacy also?? I have read the chassis from the legacy is the same as the GC/GF chassis?? Is that correct? I have an RS bumper and I plan to take off the legacy one and check for fitment. Can't afford to buy the fiberglass one and I have a urethane one now. If the bumper beams bolt up the same and are somewhat similar i don't see why a GC/GF bumper wouldn't fit. I might buy the lightweight bumper beam from the GC to check it out. It looks like the one on Oliver's site (a silver wagon) has just been trimmed
