Re: Tokyo & Kyoto Trip
These pictures are great! Thanks for sharing. It's at the top of the list for countries to visit. I've been meaning to get over there. My brother has lived on and off in Japan for the last five years. He's currently in Tottori and really loves it. I want to pull him out of work and hire him to be my tour guide as he's very fluent in Japanese.

Re: Tokyo & Kyoto Trip
I'm always jealous of people who have lived in Japan and can speak the language well. I bet a vacation with him would be absolutely amazing! I hope you make it over some time. Tokyo is building pretty heavily for the 2020 Olympics, so sooner rather than later probably.

Updated for Tokyo Threepeat.
More posts as pictures are processed.
This is some new Toyota taxi in prep for the 2020 Summer Olympics. The badge on the back is JPN Taxi
Still trying to decide if i want a Sambar van or truck
I love this van so much. It's a Toyota Alphard. There's a trim level or model version or whatever called the Executive Lounge and i want it. Looks better in black though
This is apparently a Mitsubishi Jeep. Saw it just crusing around Shinjuku

These are great pictures Kijan, thanks for sharing! I only saw 3 Subarus in Thailand, a late model outback, a Crosstrek, and a sweet GC8 STI

Odaiba Megaweb Toyota City Showcase
Gazoo Racing Yaris/Vitz
Cut away of a Mirai, a hydrogen powered production Toyota
This was supposedly electrical car that charged every where
I think this was a collaboration with Tomica, a line of toy cars

This area of the showcase was set up to look like a street in Japan in the 1960s or so

Cool pictures Kijan!
It's a shame we don't get the Levorg. However, I'm happy to see a turbo motor back in the Outback for 2020.

Re: Tokyo & Kyoto Trip
The outback is getting a turbo again?! Nice. I would love to see a turboed crosstrek. I'd also sell my soul for a levorg STI though.
Re: Tokyo & Kyoto Trip
Yup, https://www.subaru.com/2020-outback
I really still prefer a MT, but we drove a 2017 or 2018 Outback when we were in Alaska and it was nice. The 2020 is supposed to be more comfortable and now has the 2.4 turbo from the Ascent in it, which appears to be a "torque" motor. So it should be nice to drive. I'm still not a huge fan of the CVT, but it has come a long ways from where it was.

At the bottom of the place they had a restoration garage going. It was kinda rad to see technicians working in there
