ARE THERE ANY OLDER THAN MY 1990 LEGACY OUT THERE?

While I’ve been a member for 2 years and I sat on the sidelines before that this is my first post. I have a 1990 Legacy 2WD. VIN is 0048XX, March 1990 production. So they built about 5,000 cars between September 1989 and March 1990 at the Indiana plant. Does anybody have one older? Mine is roadworthy, are there any older that are roadworthy?

My 90 Legacy was built in July of 89, but was built in Japan and not the Indiana plant.

Is your VIN a continuation of the '89 production or did they start over with 00001? Was July the start of '90 production?

The VIN just states the model year and doesn't really take into account production year. I just know mine was made in July of 89 because it states that on the VIN plate.
