[color=red][/color]Has anyone ever tried an LPG conversion on a 1995 impreza wrx ? I know it sounds crazy but im running 120miles/day in the UK which is scary money at 25mpg.......
can this be done DIY ?
Any advise most apreciated

cold start follow up
Hi all, well when I got to the Subie last night same no start condition, pulled out coolant temp sensor & tested as follows straight from car ( around 3 deg C ) 4.01Kohms , warmed up by hand ( possibly 20 deg C ) 2.5Kohms which sounds about right, stuck sensor in the freezer for 20 mins to drop ...

thanks for your responces guys, as I kinda expected when I got to the car last night it started 1st try with no throttle ( admitedly a bit warmer than in the morning ) !! grrrr Changed filter for new one ( nice easy job didnt bother killing pump etc just carefull with a cloth. ) will order new coola...

Thanks again for your advise VRG3, im using 10w40 engine oil & have tried many different levels of throttle but the only one which even sounds close to firing is pedal to the floor , like I say if its a warm day starts first time every time no problem , sound like it could be the coolant temp se...

Hi all, recently run into some really cold weather ( for Aberdeen anyway ) -10 deg c etc.. & 1992 legacy 2.2 injection auto has become a real bitch to start, checked for spark & all ok ( re previous post especially of VRG3 is watching ! ) Sounds like no fuel, eventually will fire with thrott...

ecu differences
Hi vrg3 the connectors appear to be very similar if not identical , they are all slightly off color white appart from the ignition related connector which is yellow. is there any way of testing/replacing the transistor you mentioned ? im no electronics expert but could probably handle removing &...

update on ECU differences
thanks for your rapid responce vrg3 the differences ( as far as I can remember cause im not next to cars ) btn the wiring that I noticed straight away was on the RA5 connector of 91 from inboard end there are 2 wires then one missed space then 2 more wires which I think are the ones going to the ign...
