I've opened up my gas tank to get at the pump more times then I care to admit. None of the times have I really seen any "crap" in the bottom of the tank.
Plus, the way the pump is situated, it's going to pull the crud up regardless of whether the tank is low or not, since the pump sock is sitting ...

window switch removal trick?
I'm trying to swap out my 94 master switch for a 93 master switch.
I just can't get the old one out.
there are some screws that are accessed from under the armrest, that I can't manage to get at with any of my screwdrivers.
any tips?

OK, this is for the '93 FWD beater/commuter wagon, which has destroyed balljoint boots and steering rack boots. The steering wheel has a lot of slop so the wheel bearings probably need to get done also. Damn steering wheel has about a 40 degree offset to being level with the car driving straight ...
