just fab up a pipe to go most of the way that has a fitting on it for the BOV hose. then find some hoses that can slightly change diameter to tighten down to the IC and turbo outlet.

ah i see. yeah i had my 1.8 TB on there too when i was runnin it on the 1.8 ECU.

interesting to see that it allows the BOV to clear though. i may try putting the 1.8 TB back on to make the WRX IC fit, and because my 2.2 TB is leaking out of the O-Ring of the butterfly under boost :(

i noticed a loud hissing noise sounding like a leak after i intercooled my car.... turns out it was just the BPV leaking at idle like its supposed to.

if you kink/plug the vacuum line going to the BPV does the sound go away? (the car wont want to run either) thats what it was on mine anyways, this ...

this was a great rallycross, i went but didnt run my car but would like to at the next one. (not the one at PIR though)

doh, im thinking about this wrong. using a different MAF, say an NA plastic cylinder one, can you tune that with an AFC? or what else could i do? ill look around some more, im sure the answer is out there.

the scantool showed it slowy increasing to like 4.9 and then at like 5750 in 4th @ 10psi it went to 5.1...

so would bigger injectors and an SAFC help here? i could tone down what MAF voltage the ECU sees, so it wouldnt fuel as much except that with bigger ...

hmm interesting, i just assumed that its a 5.4V maf or something, since i was getting 5.1V at high rpm in 4th at 10psi non intercooled, i thought the increased airflow would max it, can anyone else chip in their thoughts on this?

im guessing that my MAF sensor is maxxed out, which just means it will start running lean up top, feel faster, and then blow up haha ...

i dont believe it is necessary, since many have gone without moving it. but i see no reason not to move it, it gets very close to the intercooler in stock location, and it only costs 8 dollars an 15 minutes to lengthen the hoses to where i mounted it and not risk breaking off the nipples.

Got my saab intercooler and piping from blackbart today (thanks!) installed and put boost at 12lbs....

really amazing difference in power(WOW) and spool time(just a tad longer), it is really great and worth your while.

the pressure exchange solenoid is the one on top right? i thought that was the name for the little black solenoid. or am i missing something...

Yes, you could use the spare MBC this way. You just need a tee and the restrictor.

Since you're not using factory boost control, Maybe you could use the stock hose that goes between the boost control solenoid and the intake resonator. It has a 2mm restrictor in it already.

if unplugging it works, with an MBC can we simply remove the wastegate solenoid altogether? if the ECU isnt bothered by unplugging it than having it not hooked up wont effect anything.
