Junkyard struts work so good.

After spending nearly $300 for the struts/springs and struts bearings for the front of the old wagon, the rear struts were in serious need for replacement. I went to local u pull it yard and found some struts off a 96 outback, 15 minutes and $30 later, I had what I thought would be direct replacemen...

I had a noise coming from my rear speakers as the alternator was going out. I also noticed my dash lights were dimmer than usual and the car idled at around 2k.

We'll see how long the lifetime $109.00 alternator from autozone lasts, luckily its only a 30 min job to chage out.

Need Picture of front springs(tapered)

Hello People: Maybe someone can help me. I just recieved my front springs for my 92 Awd wagon. But they look a lot different than the front springs, specifically the top region where the upper spring perch rests. The old springs are flat on top whereas the new springs are cylinderical on top. I hope...

Thanks for the reply, your suggestion does make a lot of sense, because the car has 215k and I did notice when I was compressing the springs, they did seem a little dead.

Thanks a lot, now I think this thread can be closed. This website rocks!
