It was blocked coolant lines I believe. I drained the coolant today and you wouldnt believe the amount of rust and crap that came out of the radiator!

Well at least I hope it is. When I drained all the fluids I left the coolant, as I was a little worried about doing the whole process for the first time.

OMG, ok now it's overheating!

I went for a normal dirve around town today and by the time I'd got home the thermo was all the way up the top and when I cut the engine a horrible hissing noise was coming from the silver coolant reservoir. I popped the hood to figure out where it was coming from ...

You're guess is a good as mine, I'm just happy to take all the suggestions I can.

Ok, the fluids seem to be free of metal particles.

I'll see if I can explain the noise a bit better...

It sounds the WORST :

Found them, all of them seem to be clear.

I'll check the rattling screwdriver trick tomorrow, when I can bring the car inside. I'll try emptying the fluids too. Although it does seem to be quieter now.

I couldn't find it. Admittedly I was looking at the middle of the night with a flashlight, but I did spot a small red cap, close to the firewall and next to my AWIC.

I didn't want to open it as I wasn't sure. I sort of comes off a small metal tube, it doesnt look all that deep, so I could be ...

I have a few questions about car audio:

- I have a Sony CDX-GT150 Headunit. It states a S-mosfet power of 52W x 4. Which would mean a max setup of 4 x 52W Speakers, correct? Does this mean I can't run 55W speakers or greater for that matter?

- I would idealy like to run 4 x 3-way speakers ...

Sorry for all the dumb questions, but if that silver tank only takes a small amount of water, where would I pour the new coolant/water mix for when I do a full flush and replace?

Does the silver tank need a coolant/water mix? I'm a bit worried that it's empty.

The Silver tank that has the radiator cap on it leads to the bottom of the overflow tank.

You cant see it actually connected in the pic, because of the wiring, but its does connect up to it.

Just checked it now (car is cold) the small tank/tube is practically empty and the larger silver one is ...
