Pulled a 5sp from a WRX this weekend, and i'm asembling everything I need for the swap.

Have:
Kartboy shifter
Ped box
Master cyl
Slave cyl
Fly Wheel (old clutch and clutch cover...)
Tranny
All supports etc. (not diffrent WRX to leggy ?)
WRX Drive shaft (think i'll need a leggy 5sp shaft ?)
Rear dif ...

New one on the way...

How hard is it to change out?
It's looking like the headers come off, drain coolent, replumb... Is that about it?
Really not looking forward to taking off the headers. Think i'll go grumble about it.

There it is boys and girls. It does not seem to be coming from the hose elbow in the foreground but rather from up behind the oil pan ...

Figured all it be seeing was O2 rich air and would just be pumping gas in. that was my thinking, just wanted to check.

Belive it's a PLX Wideband, it's reading just RCH on the gauge and is all the way clocked at 10...

So i temp. hooked up my Wideband O2 sensor, disconected the ECU's one as i only hace one bung till i get my new DP in.

Im running Pig rich, is this just the fact my o2 sensor is not leaning out the mix, or would it be the Walboro 255 ?

Makes me wish i had the TD05 on anyway...

Think it was through sparkplugs.com, think they ended up having the best shipping to Hawaii. Pretty sure it's a Denso rebuilt unit. it's the shineist thing in my engine bay...

can't wait for my drive home once the roads have emptied out...

It's That easy, you don't need a how to. when i looked I did not find much and i was looking at the thing going, "its right there un-bolt it and re-wire & re-bolt... it cant be that easy..."

Installing a new Alternator
on a 91 legacy turbo


I was having hesitation issues ever since I bought the car back in September. At first I thought it was just how the car was, being that it was the first legacy I had driven, as well as being stock, 16 years old and not 100% maintained. However ...

Basicly cleaned it up a bit, went over with a scuff pad and then Alcoh and a rag. Then the Duplicolor truck bedliner went on.
The surface feels like sandpaper

Yeah that's the thing, i'm cool with clunks noises etc. but the brake weakness is what bugs me. the car is parked till i can figure this out.

I have not got a chance to get the car up yet to look at what the problem might be but...
