Apologies for resurrecting an older thread but ive done exactly the same thing...except i have a turbo.

Am currently doing some researc to use the blower motor speed switch to control the AWIC pump.

But yea i just had to say ROCK ON! No interior would suck for daily driving.

As stated i want to do it to make the best of some new cams as they generally push your power band higher. Plus everyone knows high RPM is sexy

I'd love to know more about this, if theres a way i can up my limiter to 7,000 (or is it 7,500?) like on the GT instead of my 6,500 it would give me even more incentive to get those cams reground.

I read the part bout finding a filter being hard and came up with a brilliant idea! Nitro powered RC cars have air filters!

My old ones air filter looked about the right size and shape to do this job perfectly so maybe a trip to the local hobby store is in order. My nearest one is a 2 hour drive ...
