I want EDMs for a '93 if anyone has them.

The model name or SKU/part number for the best and brightest Osrams would be great - I see:

Osram/Sylvania Headlight Bulb (standard) - $10

They all say 65W.

I have a present (and quick) need for headlamps - my car just failed VA inspection for bad adjusted / unbracketed headlamp in a front left slightly wrecked corner (after passing for the past 5 years with the same headlight).

Anyway, would LOVE some of these E-code's and the Osrams. Can anyone ...

If anyone had pics of the '06 Legacy 17" wheels on a 90-94, I'd love to see them. Must look awesome. I'd like to throw some on when my current '04 WRX wheels/tires run out of tread.

Surpisingly, the problem has now vanished. Now I can start the car without the clutch even depressed all the way to the floor... first turn, every time. Can anyone explain the on again off again nature of this probem?

I want them to get to 225 width vs. 205 on the WRX I have currently... late model outback wheels gets there, and seems like it would be a nice look and a decent ride.

I saw an outback with 225/X/16 tires and wheels. Any idea if a tire/wheel combo this wide will work on a 94 wagon? I've had 2 sets of WRX wheels (02 and 05) on my car, and I think the look of going from 205 width to 225 width would be nice... if it wouldn't rub.

My car has been getting harder and harder to start because the clutch isn't completing the circuit when you depress it. If it does connect it fires right up, but no clicks or nothin when it does not connect the circuit. Any idea how difficult it is to replace this switch (how much it costs)... or if ...

Well, 3 hours of labor (at $45/hr) later I have two new front bearings and my problems are solved. $200 for the total job (I brought in bearings - $60). Wish they'd done 2 hours, but hell, I'm happy to be able to hear my radio again!

Ok, anyone want to weigh-in on replacing bearings vs. replacing the entire hub? Mainly I want to keep cost down at the shop.

Because I've gotten the distinct impression it can be easier (if doing yourself) and cheaper (if buying your own hubs and having a shop do it) to do the hubs than the bearing unpack/repack.

Just to clarify... for the mechanically uninitiated:

1) Would a hub replacement fix all bearing issues? (Is there an "inside" vs and "outside" bearing issue? )

2) Would your hubs fit right on a 1993 Legacy Wagon (L 5mt)?

3) Why are they lying around vs still on your car?

Can anyone estimate a reasonable cost, per wheel for the bearing replacement?

Cost is my major concern, given the $1000 value of my entire 220K mile Legacy!

Nope, stock wheels and stock size tires for the first 200k... and yet, when speed was calibrated with time and mileposts on the highway, my speedo used to read about 10% too fast. Same thing on my Dad's 91 N/A 5MT.

And, my thinking is as follows...

If the speedo is reading 10% too fast, it must ...

Are there any differences between the GT and a normal Legacy wagon other than the raised roof? You'd think GT means more power, but... if it ain't turbo...
