The other day I went to visit a guy and he had done his dash (the bits that a white on the pic above) with foliatec carbon fibre. I must say it didn't look too bad, I don't know if it would start peeling off after a few hot days in the sun though.
I've have taken a few mesurements and found out some interesting info about the factory water-air intercooling system.
The water pump that is used is an impeller-type which I have tested to flow roughly 15L/min, the factory ecu runs it at two speeds using a temperature sensor.
The only factory parts is the pipe coming off the turbo and the MAF.
With my previous cold air box setup (pictured above), it went pretty well. But after seeing the APS setup and setting my car up like that, she has that much more low-mid range power its not ...
Should I mount my pod filter in the guard where the factory resonant box is? It must flow better than an exposed pod under the bonnet or a big duct to the factory air box.
