Well when i got down to look underneath my car the tension spring was not ruined, it was GONE!

I dont know what happened. No I mean the Spot where the shifter connects to the transmission.

The piece that if you did the wrx swap you would have to order for 40 bucks. That is what is really loose ...

Well I pulled apart my console today and ripped out the shifter. I know i need a new tension spring but it wont be here until Next wednesday.

When I was underneath my car, I noticed that the connection between the transmission and the linkage was loose. Is it supposed to be loose?

First of all my parents own an oil field, so for them, yes its not high class. Maybe the newer LL bean, but our cars are not luxury cars, there practical and affordable.

I'm so fucking sick of people asking me this. It seems that every where i go people dont believe that a young kid would actually go to a dealership and pick out the only wagon there. But i did. I love wagons and i have all of my life. THey seem to handle so much better!!!

Hey if your online right now, What bushings need to be replaced in the stock wrx setup. The bushings that kartboy sells only includes two black discs that go on the lower linkage. Where is this rear linkage your're talking about. On the wrx shifter that shouldnt need to be replaced right?

So what exactly is the linkage?

You know that back in the good old days you had to walk 25 miles in the blistering heat with no shoes or cold water. So whats a little driving with no A/C Just put big chunks of dry ice behind yopur vents whenever it gets really hot (115+)

Ok i have been reading the site for about 4 hours trying to figure out what i need to replace my shifter.

I want to use the stock wrx with kartboy bushings. However i am not sure what all i need to buy. I assume that if i buy the entire WRX SHifter that includes the linkage?
