OK, so no body has swapped the 92 t leg ecu for a 90 na?????

I think I got it figured out, traced all wires back, everything checks fine.

today I drove it and it seemed fine til all the sudden the 3 codes came back!!!

I wired in all the boost related sensors, and everything.

Will ...

Ok, so now it's throwing code 13- crank angle sensor....

All others went away...

WTF?!?!?!

Ok, so I just swapped a 92 tleg ECU into my 1990 Wagon. I swapped the positives on the cam and crank sensors, and I am wiring the pressure sensor into it.

I am throwing 2 codes

the air pressure sensor

and the IAC..

Swapped the whole intake manifold, and the IAC.

But it idles like crap until it ...

um your legacy is also OBD 1.....

WRX's are OBD 2



And I would work on getting an actual PCV system on the car ie; actually hooked up to the intake, or filters rather than open hoses.

Other than that, up the boost to 14 psi, RRFPR, Intercooler, and a 3" turbo back catless exhaust, with a TD04 ...

Yeah, to run E-85....

I see no problem running e-85 with a RRFPR provided I get a wide band o2 and "tune" the RRFPR...

Yeah, I was thinking about a RRFPR, but I am thinking I want to run E-85 more and more, gas went up more and there are more stations that have it.

But for now I am thinking just put a t leg ECU in it, and then convert it.....

unless you think that a RRFPR and t leg injectors on the stock 2.2 na ...

That's fine, but this car has been running like this for 6 months...

I turbo'ed a 78 datsun 280z, with no mods to engine except tweaking the flapper maf running 8 psi on a non turbo ecu.

Turbo'ed an 84 GL wagon with ea82 na engine in it, worked fine after the oil cooler issue was worked out, 9.5:1 ...

It's ok....

Well a misfire would make the car run like crap and idle rough, right? It runs fine....and all the plugs are fouled evenly....

I've run a few cars without turbo ECU's and they all have been fine. But now I want to make some power and be a little more reliable, so a turbo ECU makes sense.

Bad things happen when you remove vacum lines that are mean't to be there......

Well I can tell I am running rich when my MPG drop, when my car reeks of unburned fuel, plugs foul quickly, and I am also somewhat watching my narrow band O2. And at 9 psi fuel starts to drop and it slows down, could be fuel cut, but it doesn't act like one.

I might just swap a t leg ECU into it ...

Neither do I, but it runs, and freaking hauls for a wagon.

It actually seems to run rich all the time, it starts running out of fuel at 9psi though....

Ok, I was thinking e85 for the mere fact that it's almost a buck cheaper a gallon out here...

It is manual.

So if I just drop in these injectors and run just regular 91 octane fuel, will it be able to run about 10 psi and not run wicked rich at idle?

I'm trying to avoid stand alones, etc, just ...

So I have a 2.0 block, with 2.2T heads running the stock 2.2 NA ECU that came in the car with a legacy turbo running 8psi.

Question:

I have some t leg injectors in my garage, I want to either step the boost up to 10 psi or run e-85.

If I just swapped injectors would it be enough fuel to run full ...

I got mine from a buddy, he got it on eBay. I'm just running the subaru JDM ic, with a heater core off a ford truck.

The post is for a subaru intercooler (removes heat from the air charge), and a ford heat exchanger (removes heat from the water) from what I could tell.

I'm selling my WRX intercooler, looking to get $50 for it. Works fine, came off of a 2002 WRX, with 75k miles on it, and put it on my legacy for about 2k miles.

All fins are in great shape.

no y-pipe, just the intercooler.

Napa sells a pressure switch, I have one installed on my Air to water setup to activate the circ pump. Easy to install, and threads right into the plug on the intake manifold.

Well, I know of a guy that's got a 96' legacy outback with an 02 MOMO WRX steering wheel, but I am unsure of how he got it to fit....


I know I could slap an aftermarket on it, but I love the 02' WRX MOMO wheel.....

Hey I have seen early impreza projectors on outback sports, but what about early legacys? Like 90-94's?

I see the one wagon at the top of the main page to this site has some projector looking lights, but they kinda look custom...

Any thoughts? Custom stuff maybe?

Ok, so I just got done swapping a 2.0 block, with 2.2t heads, and a stock n/a 2.2 ECU injectors, etc.

When I am on the highway, merging (or doing 80) the CEL will pop on but, only with the A/C on.

Not sure what codes, haven't had time to check the codes yet.

Just seeing if anyone else has this ...

Well, it's 100% fine stock ecu and all. Runs rich, no ping with 901 octane.
