so back when i rebuilt my ej22 i installed the new kickout pan and front outlet waterpump in hope to find a used pzev manifold to run on my car. well i finaly got one! things are taking out cats out of warranty so i got my hands on one.

now my plan is to cut off the bad cat right at the collector ...

done alot in the last year to lilly, new wheels/tires, tint etc. been dumping all my time/money into my rx7 though. here are some pics

in need of a crossmember to get ready to install my turbo motor this summer, i was lazy and didnt take the one out of the car i got the motor from and car is now gone at pull a part. i need boost bad!!!

its done!!!! spent all day at work swapping over every thing from my 90'. went down to Seattle with my friend and put 116miles on it in a night just cruising all over the place taking pics, heres some cool shots.

uh no.....i got sti struts and springs on my other wagon so swap over, in the above pic the motor is out, so the front end is lifted up alittle...

well been busy all week! got the car in the shop checked it out, nothing really wrong other then the head gasket issue and the motor leaking from every seal!

so Monday i washed and vacuumed the car, shampooed the carpets, bad stains.

Tuesday pulled the motor and tore it down on the bench.

went to the local pull-a-parts in my area today and found a new front bumper that HAS paint on it, a drivers side mirror that doesnt have a floppy lens, and a radiator that i may need when i do the motor swap. all totaling about 75$

its got some pealing paint on the bumpers due to a shotty re-spray.

only bummer is the title is rebuilt, the core support isnt pretty.

so my plan of action is to rip my motor out of my 90' L wagon, clutch and all, plop it in this one and start driving it, 292k is starting to show its ugly side ...

that color is far from rare in seattle there is one on every corner, and yes hg are done!

i just got done installing a new to me for free apexi noir catback for my wagon. install was easy, added about 10" to the midpipe right at the donut flang and relocated all 4 hangers. ill take some pics next time i have it on the rack at work. a stock system should be just as simple, the only hard ...

so what your saying is that change in c/r is in all in the pistons between the 2 motors, interesting............i thought the 25d heads were bigger....in need to do a diy cc chamber test

i plan on building this motor for lots of power, for later down the road, go over kill just one time. need to find some good rods, and get some good bearings, i know of good brands but not shure ...

i got a ej22t block from a local pull-a-part for 90$ :-D .
i work for a suby deal in kirkland, wa and landed a set of ej25d heads and intake complete off a bad motor we replaced for a customer that wanted a junkyard motor swaped in that had no core :-D .

so my Q is what parts do i need ie pistons ...

make shure they bolted down the "dog bone". that thing will make for some funny drive ability problems.

ive done dozens of clutchs at work with factory kits, they shouldent shudder on take off.

so got the struts and springs on the wagon today! rides stiff! needs better tires and wheels. looking for a set of 16" wrx wheels with stock size tires, it rides good but the stock 14" wheels and tires are bouncy! pics tomorrow! need some good day light!
