i got a '90 Legacy L, need some seat covers, just looking for the 2 frontsfor now. Looked online a bit, but i dont really want to spend 200 bucks, anyone got some cheaps one or know somewhere?

Is there a compatibility charge for the different generations of legacys?
I found a local guy parting out a 1995 outback, i got a 1990 legacy. specifically wondering about headlights, maybe seats.

Well the stocks are like an inch or two less in diameter, so i would only be able to screw in two, maybe three screws- on one side of the speaker.
Didnt find anything on ebay, nothin for my year subi anyways. And crutchfiled has some, but by the picture it looks like it doesnt have the elevation ...

So im chucking the stock stereo system, baught some rockford fosgate speakers for the front. The stock speakers are shaped in such a way that i cant just stick the new ones on- Ill need to put in a wood donut or something . any one come across a problem like this , perhaps some plans?

I didnt hear any sounds on the trip.
The engine oil was full at the start of the road trip, didnt really check it during, just once I got the car back to my house finding it empty

yeah, engine oil is dry
manual transmission oil level is good

any online manuals/ directions for a swap?

Edit: tranny fluid level good. main oil dry. how can i test to see if the alternator is any good?

can the swap be a one map operation? I havent really done car work too much - just helped out my bro on his cars (240z, off road racing bronco, etc)

So i picked up this car from a bro deal for 500 bucks. Had 129,000 miles. Owned it for like 2 years and didnt even put 1000 miles on it. Then, last week i took a road trip and put 2,000 miles on it in 7 days. luckily it crapped out right when we got back into town.
