Legacy steering swivels

OK, I bought a set of used steering swivels for my '91 as a precaution, but ended not needing them. They came off a car with 109K, and was located in southern PA (less corrosion than up here in NE). The good: The swivels look clean The bearings have no play, but aren't buttery smooth....maybe remove...

Awesome!

I do have ABS on my car, but I think I have a lead on a pair of knuckles from a 93 BC.

Thanks!

Yeah, I'm going to force the rest of the fluid out with air. Honestly, the rack only needs to last through the winter. The car has 200K on it now and the body is getting pretty far along. Next summer it'll be time to look for a new winter beater. Anyone know about steering swivels? Will 92-94 Legacy...

Steering knuckle compatibility

Hey all, I went to replace the rattling balljoints on my 91 AWD BC and the pinch bolts broke (big surprise). So, I guess I need to buy some used steering knuckles. What years will fit a 91 Sedan? Got a rallycross coming up in a little over a month, so I need to get the old girl going again. Also, th...

Yeah, I can't wait for snow...I bought a set of unstudded Blizzaks to play with. Re: The Saabaru. I have always been a big fan...I test drove an Aero soon after they came out. I was really hopeful that Saab and Subaru could work together and make some cool stuff, not just quick badge engineering exe...

Torque steer makes life more interesting 8) Here are some pics of my 9-3. She's just about to go into hibernation for the winter... The 9-3 is lowered 1.5" on Koni springs with Koni Sport adjustable dampers, I have a 24mm rear sway bar and rear tower brace. Engine wise the only mods are a K&...

Thanks guys!

I'm a Saab guy mostly, but I've always liked Subies...now that I own a Legacy I'm liking them more and more!

Great cars, sturdy and unique...exactly what I like about Saabs too.

A/C Compressor

I removed my A/C compressor last month. The thing worked perfectly, and is in decent shape.

Hey all, I've been a lurker for many months...this is a pretty awesome forum. I moved back to VT this past spring and this summer I decided to pick up a car for some winter fun. I was torn between an Audi 4000S quattro and the old school BC Legacy. It was a battle of titans....the car needed to be a...
