Well I pulled the (egi at )fuse for over a half an hour. Went for a short drive and tcu read code 33 again. ecu still clear . Went for a longer drive cel came on ecu 33 came up. Pulled the comb. meter,took out the speedo , and put an ohm meter on each side of the vss2 sensor then turned the speedo w...

nice pics Thanks. Is the bottom pic the bottom of the top pic? Ill pull mine and see what it looks like. The bottom pic must be the sensor. correct me if im wrong.

Disconected negative battery cable to clear codes. Recheck ecu and get a steady blink. Drove about 10 miles and turn key off. connected black connectors, still get a steady blink. cel light did not come on yet. Usually have to drive a while for the cel light to come on then a while later it goes off...

90 legacy ls auto trans. the ecu and the tcu both read code 33.The cel comes on once in a while but usually goes off. has a speedo cable. works fine. Where the heck is the vss#2? by the way is the ecu code 33 and the tcu code 33 saying the same thing . Or are they differrent.

the speedometer does work and ive disconnected the battery and and ive pulled the # 14 fuse. Does that sound right? I did see some butchred wires under the dash on the left side of the steering column. Ill have to do some more looking when i get a chance. Thanks for the info, You seem to know alot a...

thanks Josh , any advice ? Is there a way to test this and what it looks like. Im not sure where it is. I take it its not the sensor in the back of the transmission. which I hope its a good thing. thanks again.

t his is a 2wd but thanks for trying . also the ecu reads a code 33 which is the speed sensor. are these t he same as the tcu code 33 (revolution sensor)

1990 legacy revolution sensor

my trouble code for automatic transmission reads 33 .Ive just rebuilt the transmission. I ran an ohm meter on the 2 wires for the revolution sensor and reads resistance ...the needle on my ohm meter jumps to the right . Is there a way to test the revolution sensor?
