actually i just drove it and i think its a bad tranny or motor mount not sure more so the tranny i think. and yes its only under load when it does it

if you open the hood and rev it up there really isent a noticeably bad movent of the motor at all and no bad noises when you do it.. if you just pin the throttle and dont let off for a while there is no bad noise. just when u pin it and let off of it instantly thats when the loud noise happens

So i just bought a 93 legacy fwd non turbo 5 speed..so a Legacy L when i downshift to slow down or hit the gas quickly and left off there is a horendus and loud banging sound for a few seconds then it goes away. sound like its coming from the RF.
