Yeah we made sure that the air was bled out. Purging the core fixed it.
And yes, I am aware that I could face problems down the road. But I'm moving away for college need her to be running until I get some money/time for a proper fix.

Hey guys, So I just replaced the passenger side head because of a blown valve. There was no compression in #3 (wet and dry). It was a broken valve. I bought a used head, got it in, need to figure out some timing and then old Peggy will be ready to roll.

I did the black connectors and got code 35 (purge canister solenoid). I haven't ran through the green connectors. I'm doing a comp test tomorrow. I'm beginning to think rings, Cylinder 3's plug was really fouled with oil.

I have a 91 Legacy n/a wagon, 5 speed with 172,000 miles. Recently I was driving across the mountains and noticed less power on the climb.
