knock sensor wiring splice
The wire to my knock sensor is in pretty rough shape. I am planning on getting a piece from junkyard. Now when I splice it what do I do about the shielding? Solder it together like a wire or just overlap it on its self? Thanks for the help!

I just picked up a 93 turbo and its kinda a mess. Its throwing codes 12,21,22,23,24,33. It was a auto converted to manual.gto look intoI iit tomorrow.i am unfamiliar with this chassis and conversion.
