Re: BC Legacy Performance Parts - Intake, 16G, FMIC, Exhaust
Still here, make reasonable offers on these parts keeping in mind the cost of having parts custom fabricated / reworked to fit this unique car.

NYC 94 Legacy SS EJ20G Swap, Fmic, 3" exhaust $2700
Hello all, my previous user name was BXSS but I've been MIA long enough that it is now inactive but you may have read some of my previous posts. The legacy has been sitting around for a while so I think it's time to let it go. Car is a crimson red pearl 94 4eat / 118k on the clock with the following...

Part number for 93 BC Legacy Ej20gn cam seals
Are cam seals for a bc legacy era ej20g (2 bolt coils) the same as ej25d cam seals?
Does anyone have the part number for these cam seals?
Whats the Torque spec for cam bolts (all 4 cam gears are metal on this engine)??

Re: 06-07 WRX tmic worth the install trouble?
^Naaa, AWIC is really cool & allows for better charge cooling than is possible with an air to air intercooler but in an effort to keep everything as light & simple as possible I'm sticking with the hot air / meth injection setup on the ghetto-eco-boosted Forester L-t... To help keep underhoo...

Re: EJ22T VS. EJ20G
I've had both in a SS - the best of both worlds would be a dohc ej22t - 2.2l TQ & dohc top end = win win.

Re: VF11 Max HP?
^Its possible to make pretty big gains at lower than stock boost levels by freeing up the exhaust / intake / cooler intake charge so while it may sound crazy - you never know... I actually gained 28 "GTHP" on my Gtech-PRO at 5psi with intake / TBE / IC vs the same SS's stock baseline @ 8.7...

VF11 Max HP?
I apologize in advance for the very silly questions, but again I dumped my VF11 very quickly & went for a TD04 then TD05 on my SS (BXSS) Does anyone 1. Have an idea of the max crank HP the vF11 should produce without restrictions from the engine such as poor flowing heads? I'm guessing 220-250ch...

Re: EJ22T rebuild to be dropped into Fozz
but the one thing I definitely recommend is making sure you have local tuning support for the engine management you choose, regardless of what it is. http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=47942 +10000 And if you're boosting your Foz, here's my '98 Build . BTW, there is nothing for t...

Re: 06-07 WRX tmic worth the install trouble?
Thanks for the response still weighing lthe sweat vs gain ratio.
A plus for the TMIC is that it should produce an HP gain @ my 5psi "ecoboost" setting which is too low to start injecting methanol.

Re: lack of power, slooow to boost- intermittent
It may sound pretty stupid but Do you have good Vacuum values (18-20 in park / N)? Is compression good on all cyl? Ive seen a never ending lean condition on a car with low compression on 1 cyl Have you checked the knock sensor for cracks in the plastic? This will give you false knock readings & ...

06-07 WRX tmic worth the install trouble?
I have a ej20g powered sf Forester currently running a little vf11 / lss charge pipe intercooled with methanol injection which runs good at 13-14psi. I have a couple 06-07 wrx tmics laying around one of which has a perrin silicon y pipe & I have a gc8 hood scoop laying around as well. I believe ...

Re: VF11 reliability with increased boost....?...
I really wanted to keep the car 100% stock (grandma appearing) so I did not want to mount a scoop for the TMIC (have 2x06 WRx/FXT TMICs + a meth kit laying around). My turbo friends look underhood & think the car is nA which I find funny but there is no intercooler & its a ugly old forester ...

Re: VF11 reliability with increased boost....?...
Good to hear. I've seen big turbos gt45 / s400 sized die soon after an overboost episode (takes a huge over boost to kill the s400s like 60-75psi), so its good to hear the tiny vf can take a little bit of extra boost with good reliability. I have a Forester 4eat running a ej20g with a teeny tiny lit...

Hey I'm BXSS username is sorta dead now I have a silly question regarding the reliability of the VF11 with boost levels over stock. I dumped my vf11 after just getting it up to 10 psi & had no issues with it But I know folks have run more than 10 psi for extended periods of time, if you have run...
