It's the western half of Colorado that's nice mountains, the rest I remember being like Kansas.

It's actually not that much farther west of DIA that it gets really pretty.

At least you had a layover, I just got back from las vegas this morning but on the way there, my plane was delayed by weather and when i got to my layover destination i had to sprint for my next plane which was about a good half mile away in another terminal and every flight had already departed. I got lucky tho, the plane was delayed five mins for an inspection and they reopened the doors to let me on.

I spent 6 hours at Atlanta IAP last weekend, after sitting in the very last row of an MD-80. I'd only put the "hard time" I did at the Detroit airport as worse.

Wait, hard time at the detroit airport? Did you get detained?

I was stuck in the airport in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a good 2 hours when we went there. I somehow managed to do OK though :).

No, nothing like that. It's just a hell hole and the 5hrs I spent there is what I'd guess prison would be like.

I fly a lot, and there's two airports I despise. One, Chicago's midway airport and atlanta. I hate midway more....atlanta.....I just always seem to get delayed or there's a ground stop.....freaking dumb asses.

4 hours? I had a 9 hour layover in London when I toured Spain with my HS in 01. And that's not all...

Because it was with a school group, we had to stay together, so we could NOT LEAVE THE AIRPORT LOUNGE AREA!!! We had to stay in an area no larger than a football field with a few garbage restaurants and waaay-too-expensive clothing shops.

It was agony :(
