Is there are difference in turbo sizes between the RS and the GT?
I here a rumour that there is a difference in the compressor housing size on
the RS being that it is bigger than the GT?
Any one with specifics?

Turbo sizes?

Turbo sizes?
I can't be sure, but the GT and RS turbos are the same... both 200hp
engines, but the type RA definitely has a bigger turbo.
The exact spec of these models do vary with options either fitted at
delivery or aftermarket... back in these years, it was possible to almost
custom build your car with many factory order options. So... there are few
oddities or rare specifications that I have seen which are exceptions to the
general understanding, of what is a standard specification for a GT, RS, or
type R / RA.
For instance, a GT sedan is almost always an auto trans, but I have seen one
that had a factory fitted manual trans. So you say.... why is not an RS
then? The answer is that the interior trim is different between an RS and
GT, and the first owner must have wanted a sedan with the GT interior... but
manual trans.
So... it is quite possible that there is the odd RS with a factory fitted
bigger turbo.
