EJ20G valve cover gasket source ?
I have an '89 EJ20G in my '91 Legacy L. Its past time to replace the valve cover gaskets and I have the engine out to replace my fried release bearing. But I got told by the dealer that he's never seen the gaskets I brought in. Any chance something USDM matches up? Engine is going back in tomorrow eve and I'm thinking the old gaskets will go back on with some silicon at the leakiest spots.

If it's really an old Legacy EJ20G (you said '89) with 2 bolts holding each coil down, then there are no USDM equivalents.
Check Ebay for UK sellers or look for specialty shops. There have been recent posts on how to find them.
