Post by __TT__ »

Quick question. Is the ej25d pahase 1 fuel rails bigger than the 2.2 na rails?

Also on a related note. What's the injector size on a 98 2.5 legacy gt

I don't know the size of the rails, but the EJ25D injectors are tiny, in the range of 250-280cc.

I've seen different reports on that. The '92-94 NA may be the same as the EJ25D. This POST shows them as the same.

And this LINK and this PIC (thanks to Legacy777 - again!) show that it may be true.

I guess what im getting at is this. When doing the 98 dohc swap to my 22t. What rails and injectors should I use with the stock 22t ecu

^The ones that match your ECU - the stock EJ22T. The rails will fit...or so I've been led to believe.

You can run the JDM, side-feed 440's, but it'll run rich and may idle poorly. That's about as big as you can go before the ECU can't handle them. I tried 480's and it ran, but poorly....although some say they work.

Highly recommend you look into the 'rob tuned' EJ20G ECU upgrade- Thread(s) on here. Rob can tune it for different setups/combos, incl. turbos, injectors, heads, etc.
