91ej22t to 93ej22t compatibility

I am thinking of buying the 91turbo motor on Ebay, but I am not sure if they made any significant changes over the years. Anyone know for sure.

IIRC the only difference is that the 91 had the oil cooler.

Your 93 turbo wagon needs its engine replaced?

I believe the wiring harness is a little different on 91s. The connectors behind the battery are different. You could swap the harness from your stock intake manifold onto the new engine and everything should work.

Thanks for the answers to my question guys .
No my engine is still going strong at 150k. I just thought it would not be a bad idea to have a spare since it might go pretty cheap and it is only about 25 miles from where I live.
