where exactly is it leaking? Do you mean between the two halves of the engine? Or is it the pan gasket? Or the pump gasket? Or do you mean the valve cover gaskets?

Crankshaft seals? There's one front and one rear. The front frequently leaks, but the valve covers are the most commons leaks as well as cam seals.

My problem is in the front.. And possibly could be more then just the crank case.. I'll have a better look when everything is apart..

But I cant take the smoke show coming out of my hood or the smell anymore.

Hey what's the pipe (exauhst) under the crank case..?? I want to replace it .

The crosspipe? The one that wraps around the front of the engine? If you're leaking on that it's likely the front crank seal. Replacing it is like doing a timing belt change.

Yea, it sucks to come to a stop after a hard drive and have smoke pour from your hood. My seals are leaking. I've gotta have my mechanic do it because I don't have the time :(

The crosspipe IS stainless. The header parts attached to the heads are cast iron, but the rest is SS. How hard it is to replace will depend upon how much trouble the cheap-ass regular steel hardware will give you on the heat shield. Once de-shielded (and off the car for workability) the actual pipe hardware came apart rather easily with two opposing breaker bars. The heat shield, though, can really suck.

The silver/bronze/gold metal surrounding the exhaust is the heatshield.

my car has the smoke show from under the hood too and today when it was jacked up to have the exhaust hanger fixed, the guy pointed out that the whole bottom of the car was covered in oil. Im gonna redo all the gaskets on the front of the engine which sucks cause i paid the guy who switched my transmission to fix all the oil leaks which was only a couple months ago.
