I dont mind if it lights up amber, but i dont like to see it on a car with the lights off....

the lenses on the sidemarkers are amber, so something has to be done to cover that.

Get this stuff called Nightshades. It's great. Recomended coating is 3 coats. I found that it ran like a BITCH on my markers, so I used like 5 SUPER light coats.

I'll get you some clear pictures on Sunday so you can see how it looks. I LOVE how there is no chrome on the trim of my car (still gotta black the window trim).

As with any automotive specific part, that's way overpriced, just do it og style with a 5 oz can of rc window tint for 3 bucks, that you can pick up in town to save on shipping.

That's the online price. I bought a can at the local shop (8oz standard can) for like $4. Did both markers, all 4 of my neighbors markers (that "white rain" taurus), and the tail lights on a friends Grand Am.

Okay... I'm now willing to admit that it IS rice. after backing up both my old car and my new car, the stock tails DO have better reverse lights, but I still like the red better. :-p

Reverse lights can be brightened with different bulbs. . . if it's a real issue, that is.

no, the bulbs wont help much. My problem is that I painted over half of the reverse light area, so my backup lights are a little pink. I'm still happy with them. :)
