I wouldn't doubt it's the best bolt on for our cars, however I know i can get a 3in polished stainless, mandral bent for half of that price with high flow cat or test pipe. It does look great though.
Understandable, but exhaust is very very... complicated.

You could get a system for half the cost, but it wouldn't be nearly as good. Honestly.

Most innexpensive systems cost $700 and use bellmouth downpipes. Bellmouth is a design that works, but not that well.

The CES system is as close in performance as you can get to an externally dumped wastegate.

But the CES DP's are the best thing out there and they're expensive. Plus they use Supercat resonators and mufflers which are top of the line too. Trevor's welds are amazing and the quality is second to none. You really can't compare these systems to a $400 pieced together system. They (CES) will out perform the $400 exhaust garaunteed and the quality will be higher with the CES kit too.

I mean, you can buy a set (4) of Futura tires from Pep Boys for around $200 but they aren't going to perform like a set of..uh...let's say the Kumho ECSTA MX's. You'll pay around $500 for those but I'll garauntee that they'll out perform the Futura's, right?

Or lets say you get a Saab 900 TMIC. You can plumb one in for under $100 but will it out perform a FMIC kit that cost you a grand? Of course not. That's an extreme case but you can see what I'm getting at.

Oh I forgot, I'm skepticle that you can get a quality 3" SS, cut and TIG welded mandrel TBE for $400. Just on the going rate of 3" T304 SS and the TIG welds would put you over $400. Plus, even a basic HKS bellmouth (piece of crap) would run you $150 so that only leaves you $250 for the rest of the exhaust. It doesn't really add up to me.

IIRC Ciper was going to do a custom 3" mandrel TBE with Magnaflow components, a Perrin DP and he was looking at paying around $800 complete.

Wow exhaust is a pricey peice...

CES, I only wish tehy were more common in the used for sale ad's....

I'm just too much of a penny pincher to shell out almost 2000$ CDN after shipping for that...

I do believe Borla fabbed one up for Totech, now MikeC which I think I may go with for around 1000$ CDN.

I had a Brullen system installed, it included an up-pipe, and new downpipe, new hi-flow cat, and an extra silencer, and the brullen muffler.

Passed e-test fine.

I paid $1500 canadian pesos new installed by them, custom installed on my car.

The brullen system was excellent, mandrel bent, 3" all the way, stainless steel and parts and labour unconditionally guaranteed for life, labour only if they install it.

Now, I know a lot is said about the extra 2HP that can be gained with the divorced setup, but the bellmouth works well too.

I will without any question buy another system from Brullen.
