Sea level. If i was at altitude it would be less.

um. This is at a really good repair shop. estimate is likely to be nearly double that.
i have more damage than that as well

Laurel,
I just saw this. This is such a bummer. Let me know if there are any parts that you are looking for in the repair. I now have a spare wagon to pull from. I hope you work this all out and get to keep your car. But if not, I am sure you will find something else to play with. I have been talking about building an EJ20 powered brat recently. I want to run 10's in a brat like the Rigoli's do and then take it to the slickrock in moab for the weekend...

Sorry to hear about your car, I hope you can get things resolved quikly... If it's totaled, you might be able to get a few extra dollars if you can justify the cost of finding a replacement in the same condition. There was a guy on one of the Mercedes forums I belong to, and he totaled his diesel wagon, and the car was maybe only worth $5000, but he convinced the insurance company that it was worth closer to $10000 because it was in pristine condition, but it really wasn't...
