Laurel, have you ever heard of the magnetizer? It's a fuel saving device that I was told about. The theory sounds ok but I also realize that these devices seldom work as advertised. Maybe you could do a search on it and see if you think it's bunk or if it might actually work. Anyone else out there too, if you have any input feel free, of course.

I'm pissed if my gas mileage averages below 22mpg.
I made it exactly 360 miles on one tank and never made it to the nearest gas station

That's my one and only time of running out of gas though...

I use my trip meter and divide by what it takes to fill the tank back up to determine mileage. I nearly always fill it at almost exactly 10 gallons anyway just through natural consistency.

you people must not know how to drive...
i consistently get 23-25 mpg
worst ive ever got was 19mpg, because i was only making very short trips (1-2miles).
i also managed something like 25.6 mpg on a 160+mile freeway trip going at or near 100mph without cruise control the whole time
other notes.. i hit redline a few times per day, running 205 60s on stock wheels (which are not considered in mpg calc)(inflated at around 36/34psi f/r) and it is of course a 5 spd
oh yeah and the car is completely stock (almost

)
oh and approaching 150K miles
