Well, I could try and borrow my mom's husbands digi camera...and then drive over to where I keep the turbo now...But with my GT's tranny/clutch problems, I might not have time today. So it probably wouldn't happen till tomorrow...sorry. I'll try though.

A very easy way to wire temporarily (or permanently if you want) is to run the black ground wire to the chassis, then put the red wire into one of the fuses in the fuse box under the dash. Just strip the end of the red wire, find a fuse that only gets power when the lights would be on (power windows for example), and stick the wire into there. Just push the fuse in over the wire and it will hold itself. You'll be able to at least tell if the gauges are working properly.

had you been able to check the wires in the ashtray light harness (assuming this is what you ended up using) with a multimeter to make sure they are getting current? Your ashtray light worked previously right? Maybe there is another place to tap electric someone can suggest. If not one that is switched on with the illumination, then maybe one that is on whenever the car is on, just to make sure the gauges work. I don't really think the quality on the indiglo gauge setup is that good, nor procarparts or any ebay sellers of these...so its quite possible its the gauge setup itself.
Hope you get it soon...

Yeah. The light did work previously, AND we tested it with a multimeter. 11.87 volts. This is frustrating. I've got a friend with some wiring savvy who said he'd help me out if i dont have it by saturday. :-\

fawk. Okay. so i RECHECKED my ashtray light. It's dead now.

Then i tried hooking it up to my at transmission lamp. Yep, no lights there either. I think the gauges are poop.

The black box, with the wires, and with the dial, it's all the power supply. I had an extra one from a previous gauge install (but seller had sent me the wrong ones).

It may be a longshot...but have you tried checking the fuse for the indiglo gauges? Its in the white tube thingie attached to the red power wire.
Worth a shot.
