It's about as reliable as one.

You can always swap your '94 locks into the '91. That said, it would be a shame to lose an Aegean blue car. I'd probably do the '91 if it's that nice and drive that while I built up the '94.

In my case, I'll probably won't be as lucky to have the option of two nice Legacys so I'll buy an old Volvo 240 when I get a house while I build the wagon and then swap in a crash-recovered LS1 and 6-speed into the Volvo when done  . That car would be my sleeper as the Subaru's already losing that.

Since this turbo parts car deal is likely dead I may pimp the interior for now - ultrasuede headliner, new carpet (to get rid of the occasional mildew smell), extra spot welding while the trim's out, and black-tinted acrylic visors that won't fall down. I'm also working on a trick/tastefully ricey Subaru steering wheel badge from a junk temp gauge off a boat.

get escaine, it's so much better than suede.

Escaine would be cool, but I can get enough matching blue ultrasuede to do the whole headliner and carpeted parts of the door cards for about $25 and my friend has experience working with it. I'm not sure how installation of escaine would differ, but either way, I'm sure it ain't cheap.

My other problem, is that the 91 has no rust, the 94 does have rust.

I could pop my tranny into the 91, or something.

Either way, I need a pedal box hydrallic assembly for my friends car, so i can't, unfortunately, keep both in 100% running condition.

You should pop your tranny in to the '91 or something.

Wait, what is wrong with your 94? From the videos it seemed to be doing well.

Can't your buddy find a pedal box from a different car?

Could get a pedal box from another car, but we originally bought the car to part it out. No idea it was in OK condition. I'll probably go to a junkyard and try to find a hydraullic pedal box and hydraullics and shit, and buy them and give them to him + the price difference from what he paid for the car. Then I'll have 2, running SS's...

I'll go take pics now.

Color code 944, apparently it's Pewter. Who knew? I've never seen the color before I don't think.

I don't mind the color so much, but it looks like it could use some tint and rims to help it out a little...

Good find, man!

I think the color looks good, probably number two or three on the best looking stock colors, it's tied with quicksilver. #1 being Rio Red of course :D

Looks like I will probably tag and insure and toss a tranny into the 91 and daily drive it while I rebuild the 94.

Maybe.

We'll see.
