Ive been playing with some body options myself lately. I went out to the wreckers one day looking for what would fit off other cars. I came up with a set of skirts from a early 90's Civic Wagon. Looks like I can get em to fit with some slight modification. Didnt have time to find a front lip. But its kinda fun! Go pull somethin off a car, then walk it down to the Subie section, and see if it'll fit!

AWD + Body Kit = no. The whole point of the Legacy is to go in the snow. You can't go in the snow when you're dragging bottom with your stupid body kit. That's why our Legacies sit higher off the ground then normal cars (well, some of them. Most of them are sagging so badly from their old struts that they ride like boats and have the clearance of your grandma's caddy).

I'm going to have to disagree with that. If Legacys were made specifically to go in the snow they would've come with more suitable tires for this. They were made as a versatile vehicle. Like almost all subarus are/were.

Ya, the turbo AWD is great on snow and mud, but I feel it really shows its true colors on the tarmac. Putting down power at high speeds the Subaru really performs well, as opposed to FWD and RWD cars.
Theres no rule that says you cant modify the appearence of your car, or the handling characteristics. If you wanna, then do it. I'll support you in any way I can.

I'd say that awd offers diminishing returns as the speeds increase or the power goes down.
