I'll be the succinct Wisconsinite.

There's no way Katrina should've risen the price of gas that much, so its definitely going to be bad when Rita hits and actually takes a significant amount of our refineries out.

I guess I could fit the description of an environmentalist (without the tree-hugging and the smoking :roll: ) but I'm not going to go off on that schpiel (sp??)....

3 steps forward, 1 step back, is a pattern that more americans need to recognize before the oil companies will stop it. awareness is the key.

I'm pretty much repeating what everyone has already said, but I like to think of it as reinforcing :lol:

We'll see how this goes, gas still hasn't gone up around here, but I haven't been out today, I've been moving TVs....

Good Discussion though, I like our open mindedness, and lack of flaming :)
