If there wasn't an ashtray then I would agree. I do a lot of readin on the site and often ask questions about my vehicles.

In fact...I'm about to revisit a question I asked a while back. Because I just broke the same damn thing AGAIN! STUPID DAMN CAR!!

I would be lost without this board. Well I do have my Hayes manual. Like I said...I would be lost without you guys.

It's nice to roam with minimal limits. I was banned from SLi for getting past their stupid language filter. They must be under 18 over there.

I like forums that don't have a language filter...most of the time I don't need one anyways.

I think we have more action here than SLi does.

I must say that I appreciate the efforts of Josh, Jason, Phil and THAWA on the moderation side. All of these guys also have personality and large reserves of info...and when it counts, humility. Same goes for a LOT of other people.

The board isn't moderated heavily because, in general, it self-moderates. It's uncommon for someone to get upset and someone else, and those flame wars usually pass quickly.

It's probably a result of the people this board serves, and it's one of the reasons that I haven't stretched the mission of the BBS to encompass other model years or models. I'm glad that NASIOC, USMB, SLi and LGT.com exist, because they all serve the Legacy owner in their own way.

Dave couldn't have said it better.

This board really doesn't need much moderation. I do typically like to at least read/skim all the new posts just to keep up with things, and in the event there's some moderation that needs to be done, I'm aware of it.

you can blame tristan for the language filter.

I don't blame him for anything. I blame the cheesy moderators that act like 4 year olds.

I'm on Nabisoc now but you won't see me whoring it up all over the board. There is a large SE folowing over there and I want to hang out with other Subaru owners in person. I'll never give up my online friends at LCO though.

That's the thing...this is only one of the boards I visit. I visit here, NASIOC, and the USMB.

NASIOC usually doesn't take up too much time because I skim certain forums. But the USMB can consume a bit of time because the questions are more tech based, and try to reply to the zero reply ones to make sure new people are getting their question answered.

WRONG!!

Rules? You mean the rules that change everytime a mod or admin gets a bug up their arse. For a board that is hurting for members and moves at a snails pace....they should let their members say whatever they want.

I've seen posts on this board with curse words in the title. I'm not saying that I approve of such language, I'm just saying that people join these forums so people can express themselves to their peers and know that someone else had or has the same problem. Sometimes an expletive is needed to get a point across.

I had to use the expletive tool the other day when I cut my arm pretty bad undoing the drain bolt on the front diff. I had to bust it out quick and use it for a good 10-15 minutes.

It worked real well and got the job done. The car got fixed and I felt better in the end too.

I used the expletive tool many times when I was fixing my drivetrain saturday and sunday. In fact my uncle who wasn't even helping used it also.

He says crap like that all the time. I'll come home and he'll be like; Did you bring home any pussy? He's an old irishman. Always talks crap to me also.
