Got a new shift boot, courtesy of a DSM (an Eagle Talon, to be specific):
Donor BC/BF shift boot: $5.00
Pick-N-Pull entry fee: $2.00
DSM shift boot: $2.55
Having a real shift boot instead of that accordian crap: PRICELESS

It's actually been sitting there since last week, when I read in this thread Vikash's suggestion to take off the boot to improve shifter feel. It certainly did improve, but I decided it would be kind of a bummer if I dropped something into the linkage gasket thingee, so it was off to the Pick-N-Pull for me.
