Didn't know he had some. I would get his too.

Back to the AFM...

You switch ideas so fast I don't remember your EM plans, but the plastic AFM with a SAFC or such should work pretty good for an inexpensive solution.

Ah okay...

And yeah I'm scatter-brained I know.

I always have multiple projects at once.

And for EM I plan on a perfect power... to start with.

To start with? Are you going to change it later? Have you thought this through?

Here's the thing. Just do it right the first time. Ghetto fabrications work just like they are made, ghetto. You might get fortunate, but you are really asking for more work and money on the backend, instead of just doing it upfront. People like Douglas Vincent know what they are getting into and just do it, they don't come back on the BBS complaining about something breaking and how do I fix it? But the understanding is things will break in the learning process.

Get a stand-alone and more than likely you won't even need a MAF sensor. A lot of them are MAP based.

Your best bet is to map out your ultimate plan and just work for that in logical steps (Which is funny since you started that thread). Stop-gap measures are usually a bad idea and an indication of a lack of patience and/or maturity. So in case you missed Vikash saying it, I'll say it again. Think about all the things that EM controls. It might seem really spendy, but only in a short-sighted kind of way. You can be future mod proof and know that you are getting proper fueling/spark (<-- kind of important) in your car at all times.

Well, I plan on using a Perfect Power...

Unless I reach a point where it no longer can do everything that I need it to.

I dont plan on exceding that limit. But in the event that I do I will go standalone. And I understand what Vikash said... I'm going to do the semi-major mods first, but not over-do it with the stock ecu.

So I wont be going over 14lbs... Until I have EM.

I DO NOT want to tune everything for a lower level then have to get it re-tuned after I've dont more mods. I can't do the tuning myself and PDX Tuning charges around $300-400 per tune... I'm not going to waste my money on multiple retunes.

And if something breaks do to my own stupidity thats my problem.

I tune my own Perfect Power...so if you make it worth my while, I'll do it for you too (like give me a part or something)
