I love it!
And you should tint your windows, then it would look so sick.

first big drive down to vancouver over the past weekend car help up pretty good other then a split wastegate line paint seems to be good too a few splattered bugs on the front and i have noticed a few spots ive missed now that ive washed it a few times and have seen it in direct sunlight but the beauty of spray paint is ill just keep a can in the back and touch up as needed

I think the stock wheels painted black to match would look nicer IMO. I've toyed with the idea of doing my roof only in black and blacking out the windows but I'm not sure about that. Never the less, nice wagon

Gorgeous TW!!!! I had been toying with the flat/satin black idea since I got my '91 BJ, this is just the nail in the coffin! I like the black roof/tinted windows idea as well, just couldn't pick a color for the rest of the car.

I was actually thinking about doing that with my SS! Since it has the black trim around the windows, black roof would look like it was meant to be with some dark tinted windows! Yeah.

I would not recommend blacking the headlights. I dunno about the 92-94 headlights but the 90-91 headlights are so bad you need every ounce of light out of them you can get! They're horrible. With my high beams on it looks like low beams. I hated that about my old 90 wagon. I aimed them and everything and it didn't help. Even sanded them down and clear coated them and they still sucked.

92-94 headlights are much better. I think the area he painted won't matter and affect the beam pattern.

the area painted is the outside non reflective surface
so it doesn't affect light output
i do run yellow bulbs tho which help a lot and i want to get a set of jdm glass lights soon as they made a huge difference on my friends cars

Very nice tw man you can do a heck of a better job at painting than i can lol how many coats did you end up doing to get to the current point?

to be honest it needs another coat
it was 1 coat of primer 2 coats in areas that were repaired and brought down to metal and then one light coat and then one heavy coat of paint
over winter it may get an actual proper spray but keeping it satin black

Have you pulled your fenders at all in addition to the rolling?

Ah! What rims are those? They look nice.
I say that you slam it some more and add about -3 degrees of camber all around

well the front has been lowered since that pic to better match the rear and has gotten more camber
and no fender pull just rolled lip in rear

STI sway bars went in today as well cleaned my MAF and air filter then went on a few limiter pin runs to clear out some carbon and it seems to be running much better

nice looking wagon! i didnt think a flat satin black like that would look so good. but i have one question on the one pic.

did you paint the outside of the lenses too? or just the inside? ive been thinking about doing the outside too. but just where the inside headlight casing i guess you would call it is.

just the inside was painted the entire lens was still clear and personally i think painting the outside would look tacky
