While doing a NA swap is cheaper, I honestly don't have the time or interest to have to swap just about everything over to have a functional car. I'll try to hold out till a turbo legacy pops up around my area... then swap over my existing parts (if needed).

Wow man, that sucks. Sorry to see that happen.
I understand the time and interest issues, but if you were to swap everything you can into a GC/GF chassis, you would LOVE the handling characteristics.
You have everything needed right there for a, say, 1995 Impreza swap.

Today I started to contemplate having a body shop replace the left inner/outters sills (I don't have the tools / knowledge for welding) and then I could replace the doors/panels/others myself. I got both left doors opening up and the floorboards / tub doesn't appear bent at all. Although on my test drive, I noticed the C pilar was closer to the floor seatbelt and pinching it some :-S. No shop will give me any firm estimate without seeing the car -- even for the sill work.
I slapped on my stock 15" wheels and took it for a very short drive. It turns a lot quicker and sharper now. Easy braking the ABS goes off on the FR wheel. At a standstill, while facing the front of the car, I can tell the tops of BOTH front wheels angle inwards now... sort of like / \ instead of | |. Otherwise, engine/tranny/turbo seem ok -- as they should be -- was just body damage).
Tomorrow I'm considering driving 5mi on backroads to a body shop and see what they say...

That thing could be tweaked in ways that are hard to see, even in a detailed examination. Not worth messing with the shell with so many cheap ones running around.

Purchased a 94 SS today from another board member. Previous owner said the radiator cracked on the highway and overheated -- exhaust / smoke now comes out the top coolant tube -- but still runs

.
Anyways after getting it towed home on a car carrier, I set to work. First order of business was getting the damn key to turn in the ignition since the old one was really worn -- most times I couldn't even unlock the damn cylinder. A new key cut from code helps a lot, but it's still has some issues. Will need a new lock cylinder in the near future.
Spent the remainder of the evening removing wires, hoses, bolts etc from the engine. Tomorrow out comes the dead engine. Then I get to repeat with the engine removal process from my 94 TW. Hopefully by next week I'll have all my bits swapped over to the SS. Damn this is a lot of work...
