Looks great :D
Hmmm...that's really strange. I sent a total of about 20 pictures in 4 e-mails. :? Did you only get the one/first e-mail?
goerryan wrote:Do we have to thread the bung ourselves? I didn't see any threads in it. I guess it isn't really a big deal, I just thought I'd ask.
It's threaded. I don't know why it looks like it isn't.

The up-pipe is bunged for an EGT.

Ya, I sent a whole bunch of pictures. I don't know what happened but I don't have access to my pictures now until Thur. night. Hopefully they get through to THAWA.

Yeah, I was just wondering what the threads were.

If this was made in Australia they might be metric or British pipe threads; that's what I was wondering about.

I noticed the downpipe doesnt have any mounting points on it aside from the turbo plate and the part near the tranny pan. Are there any side effects to not having this mounted?

could I get a semi race (resonator, no cat) sytem with a SS downpipe and the rest be mild steel? What kind of price would that be?

that system looks pimp. Not a big fan of the mild steel downpipe, but thats my preference. I'm havin a hard time deciding, I want that system bad, but it's so expensive, argh. decisions, decision.

That DP is SS. It just looks different because of the hyper coating (ceramic coating). ;)

oh  I thought it was aluminized mild steel.

so matt have you run into any problems from not having the downpipe mounted to your tranny?

I'm waiting impatiently to see how you compare this setup to your last one. Especially the sound with the smaller muffler type. :)

No, not at all. It's very, very secure. It's funny but I was actually looking at my stock DP just the other day and noticed for the first time that it had 2 mounting points. I had never really noticed that before.

Super sweet. I will be ordering some time next week :)

My bike goes up on E-Bay tomorrow and if everything goes according to plan, then I'll be the second person in the USA to have a CES exhaust on their Turbo Legacy.

It looks like I won't be selling these exhaust systems any longer. I do have a few more systems left but the legacy systems are all spoken for at the moment. I do have 3 wrx race systems (all ss, no resonator, no cat) and 3 wrx street systems (all ss, with resonator and cat). Both include up-pipes and cross-pipes. The good people at http://www.cesracing.com.au/ should be able to accept credit cards and ship the item direct. E-mail responses can be slow, but that's the australian lifestyle for you. Be patient and you shouldn't be dissapointed. I still vouch for this product I just don't want to make a business out of selling them.
